For the Birds!

For the Birds!

Looking for a way to beat the winter blues, Neil started creating these awesome birdhouses. Old tin boxes, salvaged slate roof tiles, metal strapping, recycled wood, and rusted signs are just a few of the salvaged gems that have found their way onto these structures. But these birdhouses are not just about style, they are completely functional for the cavity dwellers who call them home. Chickadees, tufted titmouse, and nuthatches will find a luxurious dwelling with all the necessary amenities; roof and floor ventilation; clean-outs that do not require the use of any tools; and thresholds that are surrounded by metal or stone to prevent damage by pesky predators. Each bird house is a one-of-a-kind creation, fitting seamlessly into a variety of landscape applications. You'll also be able to see these in the March/April issue of Design New England and the fantastic online magazine, Architects and Artisans. Call for pricing.
